Watch: PM Modi congratulates women as reservation bill clears Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated women BJP workers at party headquarters in Delhi on Friday, a day after Parliament passed the women's reservation bill.

"The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam is not an ordinary law. This is a proclamation of New India's democratic commitment. This is evidence of Modi’s guarantee of women-led development," PM Modi said.

He congratulated India’s women and said that he fulfilled the commitment that the nation has waited for decades.
