A section of a flyover on the Mumbai-Goa four-lane highway in Maharashtra's Chiplun city collapsed on Monday. The incident, captured on CCTV, occurred at around 7 am when a significant crack appeared in the flyover, resulting in its collapse.Â
Soon after, the portion of the flyover collapsed, a crane machine that was being used at the site also got damaged. Police immediately arrived at the scene to prevent casualties or damage to vehicles. As per initial reports, a part of the flyover had previously collapsed. However, there were no casualties reported.Â
