WATCH: No document will be asked for NPR exercise, says Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while speaking in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, said that no document will be required for the National Population Register (NPR) exercise.

"If one doesn't want to give certain information, no questions will be asked regarding that. There will be no doubtful citizen marking. Under the NPR, it is being said that documents will be asked for but let me tell all, no documents will be asked for under the NPR," Amit Shah said in Rajya Sabha.
