While Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to avenge the death of the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, the Opposition also expressed its support to the government to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous attack pay a huge price.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that the Most Favoured Nation status granted to Pakistan stands withdrawn.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress stands united with the government in avenging the loss of the solders' lives. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also condemned the dastardly terror attack and so did Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Congress's Navjot Singh Sidhu, however, still maintained that dialogue was the way forward.
