Watch: Covid-19 spike in Maharashtra

Maharashtra reported 9,855 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, the highest in the last more than four months, taking the tally of infections to 21,79,185. On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will receive the first dose of Covid vaccine jab.

Since the beginning of Phase 2 of the vaccination drive, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and other central and state ministers have received their first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine.
