Watch | Buffalo marked for Bakrid sacrifice escapes in UP, runs for its life

A buffalo held in captivity caused a ruckus when he escaped from the truck in the narrow lanes of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. 

The buffalo was brought to Patthar Chowk for sacrifice on Eid-al-Adha (Bakrid) on the night of June 27. As soon as the buffalo was released from the truck, he made a run to the narrow lanes. Several people ran after him and all hell broke loose when the buffalo began attacking people. 

Some people were injured during the chase and the buffalo was caught after some time.
