Watch: Amit Shah takes to the skies with kite flying on Makar Sankranti

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel celebrated Makar Sankranti by flying kites on Tuesday. 

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel gave a glimpse of Shah's celebration in a social media post. 

"Amit Shah celebrated Makara Sankranti with the locals at Shantiniketan Society in Ahmedabad, and extended best wishes to everyone on this festival of happiness. The members of the society decorated the Shantiniketan Society with beautiful colorful kites and rangoli. This occasion was very joyful for everyone. Thanks to the members of the society for the warm welcome," Patel wrote in an X post.
