'War'nataka explodes: BJP, Congress slug it out in Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the countdown for the exit of the Congress government in Karnataka has begun with a "saffron wave" in the state.

The people of Karnataka have decided to make the state Congress-free and get rid of Congress culture, he told a public rally to mark the culmination of the state BJPs 85-day "Parivarthana Yatra" across all the 224 Assembly seats in the state.

The tenure of the Karnataka Assembly ends in May this year and Assembly polls will be held in the state before that.
