Video: Terrifying moment when 'tsunami' swing snaps mid-air, crashes to ground in Surajkund mela

A horrifying incident took place at the annual Surajkund Mela in Faridabad when a joyride collapsed there on Saturday. According to officials, a policeman died from injuries he sustained while trying to rescue people as the tragedy unfolded. They added that 12 other people were injured. The incident took place when a 'tsunami' swing snapped mid-air and came crashing on to the ground. Police Inspector Jagdish Prasad tried to save people when the joyride began tilting but suffered fatal injuries, officials said, according to news agency ANI. He was declared brought dead at the hospital.
