An unexpected visitor was found in the Mahatma Gandhi swimming pool in Dadar, Mumbai. A baby crocodile, measuring just two feet long, was spotted swimming in the pool during the early morning hours of October 3.
The lifeguard on duty noticed the reptile and immediately alerted the pool authorities. The crocodile was safely captured using a cleaning net, ensuring no harm came to either the animal or the people present.
The incident was reported to the forest department, Mumbai Fire Brigade, and police for further action. This is not the first time a wild creature has been found in this pool, as it is located near a beach area. In the past, a snake was also discovered within the pool's confines.
The authorities have lodged multiple complaints to ensure the protection of this pool from such incidents in the future.
