Video: Delhi gets a dazzling facelift for G20 Summit 2023

In preparation for the G20 Summit 2023, Delhi's streets were resurfaced, and once dark sidewalks were illuminated with new streetlights.

Public buildings and walls were adorned with vibrant murals, and ornamental flowers were planted throughout the city, adding to its aesthetic appeal. The city's makeover also extended to the traffic roundabouts, which were decorated with fountains and flowers.

The summit, scheduled for September 9-10, will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan, a newly constructed exhibition center in the heart of New Delhi.

This beautification project was aimed at showcasing India's cultural prowess and strengthening its position on the global stage. The G20 Summit is expected to attract world leaders from the globe's 19 wealthiest countries and the European Union.
