Video: 6 injured as Myanmar military aircraft skids off runway in Mizoram

At least six people were injured after a Myanmar military flight skidded off the runway while landing at the Lengpui Airport in Mizoram on Tuesday. A total of 14 people were onboard the military plane, which was supposed to take back Myanmar soldiers.

According to the sources, the Myanmar soldiers recently fled the Lawngtlai district due to clashes between the Myanmar army and the civilian army.

The Myanmarese soldiers entered Bandukbanga village, located at the India-Myanmar-Bangladesh trijunction, in southernmost Mizoram's Lawngtlai district with arms and ammunition on January 17 and approached the Assam Rifles.
