Varanasi civil court reserves judgment on Gyanvapi mosque case

The civil court in Varanasi on Saturday reserved its judgment on the Gyanvapi mosque case for the time being.

Earlier today, the Varanasi court had ordered the continuation of videography and survey of areas outside the Gyanvapi Masjid. Heavy police force was stationed in the area after a court-appointed official and a team of lawyers carried out an inspection near the area on Friday.

The survey was carried out on Friday after a plea was filed in a Varanasi court seeking permission to worship at Shringar Gauri temple adjacent to the mosque in the Kashi Vishwanathn Temple-Gyanvapi complex.
