Unsung heroes of nation awarded with Padma Shri this year

Before the eve of 68th Republic day celebration, the unsung heroes of the nation were awards the prestigious Padma Shri awards. The special thing about this year was the recognition given to faces who have done extraordinary work in their life time.

The list of ''The unsung heroes'' included unknown faces like the 'Doctor Dadi' or 'Tree man' as well as Sports popular faces like Virat Kohli and Sakshi Malik.

The winners were awarded by President Pranab Mukherjee.
