TVK Chief Vijay To Hold Grand Christmas Event In Mahabalipuram Today; 1,500 Attendees Expected

TVK chief Vijay is all set to hold a major Christmas event at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Mahabalipuram today. This is the first such religious gathering organised by the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and is seen as a significant minority outreach ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Around 1,500 attendees are expected, with entry restricted through QR code-based passes. The event follows a similar celebration by the ruling DMK, which aims to secure its Christian vote bank against the potential political threat from Vijay.
