Nikita Jacob, accused in a case registered by Delhi police in connection with the 'toolkit' shared by climate activist Greta Thunberg over farmers' protest, on Monday moved Bombay High Court seeking transit anticipatory bail.
A Delhi court had issued non-bailable warrant against activist-lawyer Nikita Jacob in connection with Delhi Police's interrogation into the Greta Thunberg toolkit case. Sources claimed that a non-bailable warrant was issued against Nikita Jacob by a Delhi court at the request of Delhi Police, who claimed that the activist-lawyer is absconding.
Nikita Jacob has now moved the Bombay High Court for interim protection against the police action. The matter will come up for hearing on Tuesday (February 16).
