Thunder, hailstorm damage crops on large scale in Gurgaon

Large scale damage to standing wheat crop and other food grains has been caused by hailstorm, preceded by high velocity dust storm in Gurgaon.

Over 100 kgs of food grain is being reprtedly said to have have damaged due to government's negligence in securing them.

Farmers were badly hit as their wheat crop went flat with a heavy shower of hail on Friday.
