Tamil Nadu assembly polls: Is BJP wooing Rajinikanth?

Ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the BJP has launched its Mission South. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday visited Chennai. He met state office bearers and district presidents of the BJP in Chennai.

Amit Shah had also met RSS ideologue S Gurumurthy, who had met Rajinikanth couple of weeks ago.

Meanwhile, AIADMK said its alliance with the BJP will continue for the 2021 Tamil Nadu assembly election.

So, with AIADMK continuing its alliance with the BJP, is the saffron party now trying to woo Rajinikanth?
