Tamil Nadu and Puducherry were very well prepared: Kiran Bedi on handling Cyclone Nivar

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi talks about Cyclone Nivar and how Tamil Nadu and Puducherry govts handled the cyclone and minimized damage.

On being asked about how administration managed to minimise the damage, Kiran Bedi said," I think both Tamil Nadu and Puducherry were very well prepared. And I think Covid-19 did the trick. We had the infrastructure ready. We just replaced Covid with the cyclone. But we didn't stop Covid work. We tested people for the coronavirus in relief camps."
