Suspended AAP leader Tahir Hussain sent to 7-day police custody

Suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Tahir Hussain, an accused in the recent North East Delhi violence and in the murder of Intelligence Bureau (IB) staffer, has been sent to 7-day police custody by Delhi's Karkardooma Court.

Duty Magistrate Rakesh Kumar passed the order after Tahir Hussain was produced before him by Delhi Police which said that his custodial interrogation was required to unearth larger conspiracy, Tahir's advocate Mukesh Kalia said.
