The Supreme Court while delivering its verdict on petitions on the lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir, directed the J&K government to review all restrictive orders within a week. The apex court also ordered the removal of restrictions on internet for key services in the valley saying that the access to internet is a Fundamental Right under Article 19 of the Indian Constitution. The top court also said that repeated orders of imposition of Section 144 of the CrPC are "abuse of power".
