Supreme Court slams MP minister for remarks on Colonel Sofiya Qureshi

The Supreme Court has criticised Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah for his controversial remarks about Colonel Sophia Qureshi. The court refused to stay the FIR filed against Vijay Shah, as directed by the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Chief Justice BR Gavai questioned the appropriateness of such comments from a constitutional office-bearer. Shah had referred to Colonel Qureshi as a 'sister of terrorists' in a viral video, sparking widespread condemnation.
