Supreme Court says problems in economy due to govt's lockdown imposition

The Supreme Court on Wednesday pulled up Centre and said the problem with country's economy was created due to the government's decision to impose the strict lockdown amid coronavirus pandemic.

While hearing the loan moratorium case, the Supreme Court bench asked the Centre to clear its stand on charging of additional interest by banks during the moratorium period.
