Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Syria soup: Was his Syria comparison a 'threat'?

The Shiv Sena has slammed Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar over his remark saying if Ayodhya dispute is not resolved India will have Syria-like situation. Ravi Shankar is acting as a mediator for out-of-the-court settlement of the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi dispute in Ayodhya.

Taking strong objection to Ravi Shankar's remark, the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana wrote today, "In our country, people from any field are poking their nose in important national issues."
