Snowfall in Kashmir derails normal life in the valley

Avalanche warning has been issued in 9 districts of Kashmir.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan has issued a fresh avalanche warning for nine avalanche prone districts of the division of the valley.

The warning has been issued for areas of Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kargil and Leh.

All the Deputy Commissioners of all these districts been asked to be prepared and to advise the people living in avalanche prone areas not to venture or move to safer locations.
