The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of farmer unions, on Saturday formed a five-member panel to hold dialogue with the Centre on their pending demands, including a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP), compensation to kin of farmers who died during the movement against the farm laws and withdrawal of cases against the protesters.
The SKM named farmer leaders Balbir Singh Rajewal, Ashok Dhawle, Shiv Kumar Kakka, Gurnam Singh Chaduni and Yudhvir Singh as members of the committee after a meeting in Sonipat.
The decision came following a crucial meeting by several farmer leaders at the Singhu border to discuss the future course of agitation.
