Infighting within the Punjab Congress resurfaced on Sunday with some MLAs vouching for chief minister Amarinder Singh’s appeal among the masses, while his rival and senior functionary Navjot Singh Sidhu held a meeting with a few of the legislators to push his case.
Meanwhile, Navjot Singh Sidhu is currently meeting with supporters in Punjab's Khanna district. He has been meeting with his supporters on a regular basis, amid reports that he has been elevated to the position of Punjab Congress Chief.
