Seema Haider, a Pakistani citizen who entered India without a visa in May, has submitted a mercy petition to President Droupadi Murmu, seeking permission to stay with her four children at her "matrimonial home" in Greater Noida. Her plea comes amidst ongoing investigations by the Noida police and the Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad. In an interview, Seema said her own life and that of her children will be in danger if she goes back to Pakistan. "I am a mother sir, I care about my children's safety. I am here only for my love for Sachin," she said. She emphasised that Pakistan is dangerous for her as she is aware of what people in Pakistan are talking about her. "I just need Indians to trust me. I am telling the truth," she said.Â
Watch as Seema Haider exclusively speaks to India Today's Arvind Ojha about her ordeals. Â
