Security heightened across country after blast outside Israel embassy, all airports on high alert

Security has been heightened across the country after the blast outside Israeli Embassy in New Delhi on January 29. All airports including the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi is on high alert and a probe is underway to apprehend the accused involved in the blast.

A low-intensity improvised explosive device(IED) went off near the Israeli Embassy in the heart of Delhi on Friday evening but no one was injured. Some cars were damaged in the blast that occurred about 150 metres away from the Embassy in Dr APJ Abdul Kalam road in the very high-security Lutyens' bungalow zone.
