Andhra Pradesh: Security beefed up for netas

In the aftermath of the attack on YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Police have reviewed the security of senior politicians in the state. In a review meeting, the Andhra Pradesh government decided to provide three-tier security cover to a few politicians.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of Andhra Pradesh's opposition YSR Congress party, was attacked with a sharp weapon at Vishakhapatnam airport Thursday afternoon.
