Section 144 withdrawn in Jammu, schools, colleges to re-open tomorrow

Section 144 has been withdrawn from Jammu region as there has been no violence or untoward incident in the past five days. However, internet services remain suspended, said Jammu District Commissioner Sushma Chauhan.

The order also said that schools and colleges in Jammu will re-open tomorrow. However, Section 144 remains in place in certain pockets of the district. Section 144 has also been withdrawn from Kathua and Samba districts. The situation is peaceful in all 10 districts that fall under Jammu region.
