Sanjay Leela Bhansali thrashed, sets of Padmavati vandalised by Karni Sena

Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was today assaulted by members of the Rajput Karni Sena. The Ramleela director was slapped and his clothes were torn off in Jaipur, where he was shooting for his next Padmavati.

The sets of the film were vandalised as they were shooting at Jaigaarh fort in Jaipur.

The row is over Padmavati as the accused group feels that the film is a distortion to their history.
