Sandip Ghosh sent to 8-day CBI custody over 'financial irregularities'

Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of government-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, has been remanded to eight days in CBI custody in connection with alleged financial irregularities at the hospital. 

Sandip Ghosh and three others were arrested by the CBI on Monday for their alleged involvement in the financial irregularities in RG Kar hospital, where a 31-year-old trainee doctor was raped and murdered in August.
