The Bengaluru Police, which raided actor Vivek Oberoi's Mumbai residence on Thursday in connection with the sandalwood drug scandal case, did not find the actor's brother-in-law Aditya Alva in his house.
The raids were conducted over his ties with Aditya Alva, who is accused number 6 in the sandalwood drug case and has been on the run since September 4.
Bangalore additional commissioner said, "Aditya Alva is absconding. Vivek Oberoi is his relative and we had information that Alva is present there. So we wanted to check, a court warrant was obtained and the CCB team has gone to his house in Mumbai."
