Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee's statue attacked in Kolkata

A statue of Sangh ideologue Syama Prasad Mookerjee was attacked in Kolkata. The incident of vandalism comes after two Lenin statues were earlier toppled in Tripura and a Periyar bust being vandalised in Tamil Nadu.

The SP Mookerjee bust that was damaged today in Kolkata is located at the Keoratala crematorium in the southern part of the city. The location is not far from CM Mamata Banerjee's residence.
