Ruckus over farm bills: Govt mulling moving motion against Opposition MPs

The government is mulling moving motion against some Opposition MPs for disrespecting Rajya Sabha's Deputy Chairman, sources told India Today.

Govt could approach Vice President Venkaiah Naidu over the issue.

Earlier in the day, after massive ruckus the contentious farm bills was passed in the Rajya Sabha. The bills, farmers empowerment & protection agreement on price assurance and farm services bill passed through voice vote within 10 minutes.
