Republic Day violence: Deep Sidhu's village backs him, alleges charges are false 

The village of actor-activist Deep Sidhu, who is on the run in connection with Republic Day violence, has passed a resolution to back him.

Deep Sidhu hails from Udekaran village in Punjab's Muktsar district. People of his village have alleged that the charges against Sidhu are false and it's incorrect to brand actor-activist a traitor.
