Release of Abhinandan Varthaman from Pakistan a diplomatic victory: Amit Shah 

BJP President Amit Shah on Friday said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government, India has given Pakistan a strong message, and it's up to Islamabad to decide where ties will go.

Shah, who was the inaugural speaker at the India Today Conclave 2019 in New Delhi spoke on several issues including the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Pulwama terror attack.

He also blasted the Opposition in the wake of heightened India-Pakistan tensions, asking if they were accusing his party of orchestrating the terrorist attack in Kashmir that caused the ties to plummet.

Ahead of the expected arrival of the captured pilot, he said the release of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman from Pakistan was a diplomatic victory.
