Rajya Sabha passes Citizenship Amendment Bill

After hours of fiery debate, the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill has cleared the Rajya Sabha hurdle. 117 MPs voted in favour of the bill while 92 voted against the bill. But a few members have claimed that their vote was misregistered, so chits are being distributed in the House for verification of votes.
