Rahul Gandhi Targets Modi Govt in Germany: 'BJP Proposing Elimination of Constitution'

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi targeted the Modi government during his visit to Germany, alleging a fundamental 'clash between two visions of India'. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of 'proposing elimination of the Indian constitution' and systematically capturing state institutions. Addressing the gathering, Gandhi stated, 'What's going on actually is a fight between two visions of India... There are millions of people in India who have a completely different vision.' He contrasted the 'democratic impulse' of conversation and consensus with what he termed the 'idea of a king', warning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision would create deep divisions and make people fight. The LoP asserted that India is a 'union of states' and cannot be ruled by the whims of one person, reiterating his ideological battle against the RSS and the ruling government.
