Rahul Gandhi is rallying point for Congress: Puducherry CM V Narayanasamy

In an interview to India Today TV, Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy said that resignation is not a solution to Congress' defeat in 2019 Lok Sabha elections and that "Congress president Rahul Gandhi is a rallying point for the Congress leaders in the country today."

V Narayanasamy said, "12.5 crore people have voted for the Congress believing in his [Rahul Gandhi] leadership."

Every chief minister of Congress-rules states met Rahul Gandhi on Monday to persuade him to withdraw his resignation from the party president post.
