Rahul Gandhi bats for OBC quota in women's reservation bill

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said he supports the women's reservation bill but lamented that the measure was "incomplete" as it lacks quota for other backward classes.

Speaking on women's reservation bill in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said, "One thing makes this women's reservation bill incomplete, would like to have seen OBC reservation included."

On Tuesday, the government introduced a constitutional amendment bill reserving 33 per cent seats for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
