In a press conference, Rahul Gandhi alleged a massive electoral fraud, terming it a crime against the Indian Constitution. He accused the Election Commission and the party in power of perpetrating what he called a "huge criminal fraud" across the country. Presenting evidence from the Bangalore Central Lok Sabha constituency, Gandhi detailed how the election was allegedly stolen. He cited the case of a woman, Shakun Rani, who purportedly registered and voted twice. Gandhi provided figures for one assembly, including over 11,000 duplicate voters, 40,000 fake addresses, and over 33,000 instances of misuse of Form 6. He stated, "This is a crime that is being committed against the Indian Constitution, against the Indian flag." Gandhi claimed that CCTV footage and voter lists are evidence of the crime, which the Election Commission is allegedly trying to destroy.
