Puneeth Rajkumar: A star gone too soon

Soon after the news of the death of 46-year-old Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar due to cardiac arrest surfaced in the media on Friday, tributes poured in from all sections of society and from across the country, including politicians cutting across party lines, celebrities from across the country and fans alike.

Meanwhile, thousands of fans arrived to pay their last respects to Puneeth Rajkumar on Saturday.

Puneeth's funeral, which was earlier scheduled to take place today, will now take place on Sunday. The state government took this decision to give people a chance to pay their last respects.
