Puja Khedkar's mother Manorama sent to 2-day police custody

A Pune court has sent controversial trainee IAS Puja Khedkar's mother Manorama Khedkar to police custody till 20 July in connection with an old video in which she was seen allegedly threatening farmers with a pistol.

Manorama Khedkar, who was on the run, was arrested by Pune police this morning from a hotel in Mahad in Raigad district. Manorama Khedkar used a fake name to stay at the hotel. She used the name "Indubai Dyandev Dhakne" and another person who was with her used the name "Dadasaheb Dnyandev Dhakne".
