Student protests flare up across country over JNU violence

Hundreds of students in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Aligarh staged protests in show of solidarity with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students and teachers who were attacked by a mob late Sunday.

Protests were held at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) late on Sunday night against violence at JNU. On Monday, over 100 people, many of them students, gathered at Gateway of India in Mumbai to oppose attacks on students. Here's full report.
