PM Modi's historic visit to Nigeria marks a significant milestone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Nigeria on Sunday as part of a three-nation tour that includes Brazil and Guyana. This marks his first visit to Nigeria and the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 17 years. He was welcomed by Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja, where he received the 'key of the City' from Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Minister for the Federal Capital Territory. PM Modi was also honoured with the Grand Commander of The Order of the Niger (GCON), the second-highest civilian honour of Nigeria.
