Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks on the Women's reservation bill in new Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed the MPs in the new Parliament. He also told the house that the Women’s reservation bill, which aims to provide one-third reservation to women in Parliament and state assemblies, will be introduced in the house during the special session. Incidentally, this will be the first bill introduced in the new Parliament building. Addressing the Members of Parliament in the new building, the Prime Minister called it a "historic session" and he congratulated the "parliamentarians and people of India".
