A political row has erupted over the bhumi pujan ceremony at Ayodhya for construction of the Ram Mandir on August 5. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the possibilities of him attending the Ram Mandir bhumi pujan.
"Attending bhumi pujan in official capacity will be a violation of @PMOIndia's constitutional oath. Secularism is part of the Basic Structure of Constitution. We can't forget that for over 400 years Babri stood in Ayodhya & it was demolished by a criminal mob in 1992," Asaduddin Owaisi said on Twitter.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the top dignitaries who have been invited to attend the Ram Mandir bhumi pujan on August 5. Till now, PM Narendra Modi has not ot confirmed his decision to attend the Ayodhya event.
