PNB scam whistleblower warned agencies 1.5 years before Mehul Choksi fled India

A whistleblower claims to have alerted Indian agencies about Mehul Choksi's Ponzi scheme and potential escape 1.5 years before he fled the country. The whistleblower, a former franchisee of Geetanjali Jewellers, reported the scam to ED, CBI, SEBI, and the Finance Minister in 2016-17. Legal expert Swapnil Kothari suggests this revelation could expose complicity within the government at that time.
